🌱 Early Life and Youth Career

Born in Madrid to a Spanish father and an Argentine mother, Alejandro Garnacho began his football journey at Getafe CF before joining Atlético Madrid's youth academy in 2015. In October 2020, at the age of 16, he transferred to Manchester United's academy for a reported fee of £420,000. Garnacho quickly made an impact, notably scoring a remarkable solo goal in the FA Youth Cup against Everton, which was nominated for United's Goal of the Month in February 2022. He played a pivotal role in Manchester United's FA Youth Cup triumph in 2022, scoring twice in the final against Nottingham Forest. His performances earned him the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award in May 2022.

Manchester United (2020–Present)

Garnacho made his senior debut for Manchester United on April 28, 2022, as a substitute in a Premier League match against Chelsea. He scored his first senior goal on November 3, 2022, in a Europa League match against Real Sociedad. His first Premier League goal came on November 13, 2022, with a stoppage-time winner against Fulham. Throughout the 2022–23 season, he continued to impress, contributing crucial goals and assists. In April 2023, he signed a contract extension with Manchester United, keeping him at the club until June 2028. 

In the 2023–24 season, Garnacho's spectacular overhead kick against Everton on November 26, 2023, earned him the FIFA Puskás Award for the best goal of the year. He also scored his first UEFA Champions League goal in a 3–3 draw against Galatasaray on November 29, 2023. 

During the 2024–25 season, Garnacho continued to be a key player for Manchester United, making 36 Premier League appearances and scoring six goals.He played a significant role in Manchester United's FA Cup victory in 2024, scoring the opening goal in the final against Manchester City.

🌍 International Career

Eligible to represent both Spain and Argentina, Garnacho initially played for Spain's U18 team in 2021. In 2022, he switched allegiance to Argentina, making his debut for the U20 team and scoring four goals in the Maurice Revello Tournament, where he was named the Revelation Player and awarded Goal of the Tournament. 

Garnacho made his senior debut for Argentina on June 15, 2023, in a friendly match against Australia. He was part of the Argentina squad that won the 2024 Copa América.
